LA street parking is the first thing a long-distance load can lose a morning to. Dense blocks in Koreatown, Hollywood, and the Westside fill early, and Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and Pasadena each run their own process for reserving curb space. We sort truck position and any posted signage before the date, not on it.

Most SF blocks run on permit parking, and a full-size moving truck needs reserved curb. Temporary no-parking signs go through the SFMTA and have to be posted days in advance, which is why we plan the SF end while the LA end is still being scheduled — the truck parks at your door, not two blocks downhill.
Downtown, Century City, and Westside buildings won't release a freight elevator without a Certificate of Insurance, and those elevators book up fast at month-end. Send us your building's move-out requirements with your quote and the paperwork is in before load day.
Switchback staircases in Victorian and Edwardian flats were built for narrower furniture than yours. We count the stairs before we quote, size the crew to the building, and plan a hoist through the bay window when the stairwell won't cooperate.
